I am appalled by the rise in prices of many goods. Often the increase comes in the price of something fundamentally inexpensive--a part or a fitting of some kind--not a big-ticket matter, but an item you need, that last year was $3.29, we'll say, and this year is suddenly $4.19--about a 30 percent increase. It ain't much by itself, and you got to have it, but when it hits a whole bunch of things, it really adds up. And produce (fruit and vegetables)!!
